LCW is actively soliciting blog posts from its paying members.
Please read the following submission guidelines carefully prior to submitting your work.
Work should be engaging, personal, and completely non-promotional. If possible, it should reflect the monthly LCW theme in our annual thematic calendar, however the connection can be loose. We welcome personal stories or anecdotes. All content should be professional—i.e. well-edited, free of profanity, derogatory/insensitive content and should not detract from general Christian beliefs. LCW reserves the right to reject any proposal for any reason.
To support our vision of collaboration, submissions will only be accepted by paying LCW members only. Regardless of where you live, if you are a writer of Christian literature, you may become a paid member. Learn more about membership here.
Blog posts should be between 500-1,200 words long and should be “reader-friendly.” For example, it should be broken into sections and divided by headers. Do not include images of any kind when submitting work due to copyright/usage reasons.
LCW does not compensate authors for blog posts. However, a byline, bio, and link to the author’s website—as well as one copy of a published book by the author—may be included for display at the end of the blog post. In addition to being posted on our high-visibility website, blog posts will also be shared on our Facebook page and included in one of our mailings to our writing community.
Send complete blog post articles to email@example.com along with a brief bio. Please do not send attachments. Your blog post should be contained in the email itself. Blog posts with attachments will not be considered.
Please note that we prepare two months in advance. We will consider submissions up to the last day of the month. For example, we will consider submissions sent through the end of November for distribution in January.
Please do not email to follow-up on your submission. If you do not hear a response from us, we have unfortunately decided to pass on that particular post. However, please don’t give up and submit another blog post for consideration.
Thank you in advance for your contributions to Lancaster Christian Writers Association!
